CAMP

On tuesday we went to camp,our first stop was waimarino.Waimarino was really fun i did most of the activities but i was to scared to jump off the highest diving board,but the worst thing was doing press-ups but apart from that it was a pretty good day.when we got back to camp we got our sorted then we went to saphire springs,all it really is,isheated pools but thats ok cause it was still fun and raining with thunder and lightning too!by the time we got back to camp it was dinner time we had ice-cream sodas and nacos!YUM!
the next day we stayed at the lodge we talked had fun and played a few games and in the after-noon we started cooking dinner,firt up was peeling washing and cutting a whole bag of potaetoes to make the chips,then we sliced tomatoes,lettuce and we grated alot of cheese!lastly we cooled the patties and set everything up ready for people to come in and start eating the delicous burgers that we the yr 8s made plus there was ice-cream for desert and fizzy for our drinks it was really really yumm!
on day 3 our last day of camp we went to the ropes course and we also went paintballing. at the ropes course i had to step just a tiny bit out of my comfort zone because im just a little scared of hights but i made it to the top so im proud of myself.at paintball i was one of the only ones who did not get hit not even once in 2 games it was a really cool afternoon that day but the bad thing was that i got sick on the bus!it was a little embarrasing but lucky for me i did not throw up.
we arrived at school at 4:30and i was waiting for a while then i gave up waiting and went to the office to call my step-dad so my step-dad came down to the school to pickme up and take me home.when my mum came home it turned out she had forgotten and thought i came back from camp the next day!
